01 / Mission

Why Beat Switch exists.

We exist to give independent labels, artists, and their teams the operational infrastructure they need to grow, without losing control of their music or their direction. At the centre of that work is the strategic ownership of intellectual property: protecting it, growing it, and making sure it works for the people who actually built it.

Beat Switch was built to run real operations. Labels, artists, catalogues we work with day in, day out. The same infrastructure is available, selectively, to a curated roster of outside labels, artists, and teams who need the same thing.

Distribution, rights, royalties, release management, handled by a model built specifically for the way independent music actually works. The aim is for the operations to recede into the background, so the time you spend on the business goes back into strategy, marketing, and growing what you've built. The foundation steady, so the work above it can travel further.

02 / What we do

A complete service, built around the way independent music actually works.

01 / Intellectual Property

Strategic ownership, protected

Structuring, protecting, and growing the long-term value of your music and catalogue. The decisions that shape what you own, and what it's worth, for years to come.

02 / Rights Management

Administration that holds up

Splits, ownership, mechanicals, sync clearance, neighbouring rights. Registered with the right entities so the right royalties flow back where they should.

03 / Release Management

Campaigns, not chaos

Project management, marketing strategy, retail relationships, DSP pitching, promo. The connective tissue between a finished record and a successful release.

04 / Distribution

Wide, considered delivery

Distribution across every meaningful digital and physical platform, with structural validation before anything leaves the building.

05 / Business Management

The commercial side, run properly

Contracts, deal flow, financial structuring, and the day-to-day commercial operations that keep the business moving. Quiet work that's expensive when it isn't done.

06 / Royalty Accounting

Accounting you can read

Robust systems for tracking, reporting, and distributing royalties. Monthly statements with an audit trail that survives scrutiny.

03 / Why us

A backbone that flexes to fit.

The same operational engine, configured to your shape. Stack the services you need, integrate with what's already in place, and let the platform underneath keep everything reconciled. The aim is the operation running so cleanly you stop thinking about it.

01

Modular by design

Every service is stackable. Take the full operation, take a subset, or take one specific layer. Nothing is bundled together to inflate scope, and nothing is held back to upsell later.

02

Integrate or build from scratch

We plug into your existing setup if you've got one, or build the operational layer from the ground up if you haven't. The starting point is wherever you actually are, not where a service template assumes you should be.

03

One source of truth, every touchpoint

Switchboard is the canonical record for everything: releases, contracts, statements, assets, royalties. Same information, same place, every team and every client. Automated, transparent, and reconciled.

04

Your time back for the work that matters

The operational nuts and bolts handled properly, so founders and managers get their attention back for strategy, marketing, and growth. When the foundation is steady, the building above it goes further.

04 / Who it's for

Built for the people who take it seriously.

If you're building something in independent music and the operational side is starting to slow it down, that's the gap we fill. We're selective about who we work with, not because we're precious, but because doing this properly takes time.
